Positive results for Asia in the FIG Authorities Elections

Positive results in the FIG Authorities Elections have been achieved by the Asian Candidates during the FIG Elections which have been held during the 77th FIG Congress in Helsinki, Finland from 17-19 October 2008.
TAKIZAWA Koji From Japan has been elected as vice President with 41 Votes.
Five Asian Candidates have been elected to the FIG COUNCIL who are:
- Mr KIM Dong Min KOR 58 Votes.
- Mr AL-HITMI Ali Ahmad QAT 56 2 Votes
- Mr ATTABAA Mouhamed Youssef SYR 53 Votes
- Mr ABOUEDEL D. Saif KUW 42 Votes
- Mr SOPA Sawat THA AGU New 39 Votes

ELECTION OF THE GFA COMMITTEE MEMBERS
ARAKI Tatsuo – Japan – 55 Votes.
KHALIL ALLOUSH Mohamed – Palestine – 27 Votes.

ELECTION OF THE MTC MEMBERS:
HUANG Liping – CHN – 51 Votes.
KATO Sawao – JPN – 45 Votes

ELECTION OF THE WTC MEMBERS :
YAN Ninan – CHN – 47 Votes
HARINISHI Yoshie – JPN – 38 Votes.
